We use your information solely to provide and improve the app's features:

• Display your profile to your friends
• Show your hangs to the appropriate audience (friends or circle members)
• Deliver in-app notifications about friend requests, hang invitations, and messages
• Enable you to find and connect with friends

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only visible to:

• Your friends (profile, hangs shared with friends)
• Circle members (hangs shared within a circle)
• Other users (your username and name when they search for friends)

Your data is stored securely on our servers. Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing. We use secure sessions to keep you logged in. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage.

Your Choices

You have control over your information:

• Edit your profile — update your name and photo at any time
• Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Profile screen in the app. This removes your profile, hangs, messages, friend connections, circles, and photos
• Notification preferences — control which notifications you receive in your profile settings
• Block and report — block other users or report inappropriate content

Children's Privacy

Hangout is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app.
